Hi all, quick update and some questions from our side
1) I'm off on leave until the 18th April - if you need anything before then, Filippo can help, or can escalate to David Wright if needed.
2) Is there call for STAR planned for this month? If so, can you let Filippo know the date and time so he can represent TRI?
3) When might we expect the transcripts from the interviews you have conducted so far? (by the 6th of April would be ideal so we can start drafting the report)
4) Has VUB asked the PO about the contact list? - if you recall, we wanted to know if the EC actually wanted or needed the full contact list as a deliverable, or if they would be satisfied with metrics about/description of its content. This will effect how we ask for consent for personal data processing as we build the contact list.
5) Something to think about: We are contemplating adding a privacy notice / research ethics document on the STAR website concerning how we deal with the interviewees' personal data and responses. This would include the information we gave interviewees during the interview and it would include the details we receive from the EC concerning the contact lists. Any thoughts on this?
Best wishes and happy easter!

European DPO network released
The European Data Protection Supervisor released a network of data protection officers in an effort to facilitate communication among European officers. The list, which identifies more than 80 DPOs by EU institutions and bodies, is said to be reflective of the need for networking and the importance of exchanging best practices and know-how.

Dear all,
Please would you be able to send to Filippo the details of the
interviews with DPAs and DPOs you have been conducting for STAR?
Could you let him know what interviews you have done and what you have
in the diary, and please send him your notes/reports from any completed
interviews.
Time is ticking on this.
many thanks,
DBW

Dear Partners,
I hope this email finds you well.
In the context of our interviews, I had a call with Ms Michaelidou of
the Cypriot DPA. During the interview, she mentioned that they are also
carrying out a training project
(http://traingrcy.law.uoa.gr/moodle/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=1) and,
since they also have to map current training activities, she kindly
asked if we are willing to share our model interview questions for DPOs.
We do not have anything against sharing them. Would it be ok with VUB or
NAIH as well?
Thank you and best wishes,
Filippo
